I Cannot Activate The Software

I Have Purchased R3Cover Data Recovery Software but Cannot Activate It….

This guide has been created to help those who are finding difficulty in activating the R3Cover Data Recovery software once they have purchased a license Key.

Whilst the screenshots on this page are from a Mac, the process detailed is exactly the same for both the Mac and Windows versions of the software.

1.  So you have scanned your hard drive using the R3Cover Data Recovery Software and have decided to purchase a license to enable you to retrieve your missing files?  After the payment process has completed you will receive an email confirming your purchase and your serial number.

2. Keep the email open and launch the R3Cover application.

3. You will be presented with a window like the one shown here.  It is from here that you will activate the software.

4.  Click the link next to the the first step (circled in the image in red).  This will take you to our activations page shown below.  You will need the serial number from your confirmation email.

 

5.  Firstly enter the serial number into the box provided (again circled in red).  *Please note that the request number is unique, your number will be different and is specific to your machine.  This means that you must click the link on the machine that you wish to activate the software on for this to work properly.

6.  Once you have filled in the serial number and all of your personal details you can click the ‘Request Activation Code’ button.  If all has been successful an activation code will be generated.

7.  We recommend that you print this page or at very least make a note of the activation code as you will need this in the next step.  You may also copy the code by first selecting the code and then pressing ⌘+c (on a Mac) or ctrl+c on a Windows machine to copy.

8. Now go back to the R3Cover software and find the Step 2 section (circled in red below) here you can enter your code by either typing it out or by pressing ⌘+v (on a Mac) or ctrl+v on a Windows machine.

9. If everything has been done correctly at this point you can press the Activate Now button at the bottom of the screen (again circled in Red).  Your software will now be unlocked and you will be able to recover your lost files without any of the restrictions of the trial version.
